Reviewing The Ideas...

With college started up it's hard to keep up with all the plans we've had for movies this fall, but I just reviewed over the ideas I've had written down and I'm currently updating them on the computer. The most recent project seems to be a better idea than I originally thought it was going to be, so we've moved forward with the script a little & made it the focus point for the Dixie State College "Senior Capstone." Not wanting to give away our idea too much, we'll give details as we're developing the movie.

In other news, I will be meeting with Richard Squire in about a week to discuss ideas for a local musical movie. I'll definitely be looking for singers, actors/resses, and general people that want to help out (like building sets, operating lights, sound, & cameras, and all that easier stuff).

Logo Almost Legal!

Thanks to a local High School student (don't start judging now, just because they're young doesn't mean they're not very talented!), a girl named Mikayla Cook, we will own our logo legally very soon! She's done a couple drafts, and is now working on the final project. Now the reason I say legally, is because in the beginning I just found some pictures off the internet, put some words on them, and posted it as the temporary logo on my blog (I haven't used it yet for anything other than some posts on the internet so no legal worries so far). With that done, all I will need is to find a opening song for the STG series.

In the actual filmmaking area, I am still awaiting my film permit (due mainly to I had to write another letter so I don't get overcharged with being practically no-budget). I'm also working on finding some well-known people that like to bike around St. George. I have in mind political leaders, actors/actresses of theatre, 'in the public eye' businessmen & women, and any others I can find. Special thanks to Richard Squire for that idea.
